Help sponsor the
Food Bank of Eastern Michigan's
Backpack Program

The goal of the Backpack Program is to provide children at risk of hunger with easy access to nutritious, non-perishable food items that meet their weekend nutritional needs. Each weekend a backpack containing two breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks are sent home with children in need.

$100 sponsors a child for a backpack the entire school year. Donations can be combined to sponsor a child so any amount is appreciated. All donations need to be made payable to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. Please indicate you are sponsoring either the Mt. Morris School pantry or Backpack Program. If you do not indicate the school district you are sponsoring, all funds will be added to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan’s general account. All donations are a tax deduction.
